We have worked for and with various practice management software vendors over the years and continue to do so currently. As a result, we are quite versed on how to make your superbill the most effective it can be with your current software. Our primary goal is to make this particular document as easy to read for staff, providers and patients. Having been involved in the printing industry for almost 20 years, the tricks on how to
do this are second nature.
If you are internet active, which you must be to be reading this, there is an added bonus. We encourage all customers to download a FREE program from Adobe. It is called Acrobat Reader and it is available at www.adobe.com. This program sits on your hard drive until it is needed. It allows you to open files that have been created in other platforms and “read” them. What this translates into is the easiest to read proofs you have ever seen. Most typesetters and graphic persons create, typeset and design in the “MacIntosh” world. Until this product came along, we had to review fax copies of superbills, which can get quite tedious and frustrating. NOW, the typesetter can E-Mail the file of the superbill proof to us for our review. Once we have it to a point that we are happy with, we can E-Mail the file to you, the customer. You can print it on your laser or bubble jet printer, review all changes and either call us with changes or fax them. The beauty is that what you are receiving is a clean original that is very easy to review.
